I always have a soft place in my heart for Canadians (being from Toronto originally), call me bias but I am allowed! MUSE plus model Melina Querel brought to the studio such an amazing energy and fabulous sense of style, which I am sure has been influenced by living in Montreal and Dubai. This is the second red leather skirt which has come through our office lately which tells me its time to buy one ASAP! Anyone who thinks models are dull would change their mind after spending five minutes with Marlous Van Zee. She’s practicality the plus-size equivalent of Heidi Klum; she’s got the hair, the smile, the legs and a similar sense of humor!  This breathtaking dutch beauty lives nearby Amsterdam and travels all over Europe for work. We even discussed Barcelona life a bit because she’s worked there a handful of times (of course).  Even her nickname, Pose, comes from her hilarious birthday invitation, a celebration which sounds like it could rival one of Heidi’s famous Halloween bashes. Look out Heidi, here comes Marlous!

My main form of exersize is yoga and what I wear my Adora Om pieces for, but they are perfect for so many active activities! Made using high-quality fabrics, each piece is the perfect weight for a plus figure and thoughtfully designed with attention to detail in the workmanship. One of my pet peeves about activewear is when they don’t address the fabric “stretch factor” when your working out. Fabrics tend to thin-out and become more transparent when you’re bent over in a ‘downward dog’, this was not the case with Adora Om, the ladies behind the company have really done their research and truly understand the needs of curvy women.

I am also wearing “My Game Face” top that comes with a shelf bra built-in, although I still needed a sports bra underneath. Most plus women do.  I have to say the mesh paneling is such a smart addition in this top because it allows air to move while your in the yoga studio, keeping you cool and comfortable.

One of my favorite things to do is pull my sweatshirt sleeves down over my hands, which always stretches out the ribbing, so when I put on the “I’m Outta Here” jacket and my thumbs when through the thumbholes I will just over the moon! Not only does it keep your sleeves straight, I find it oddly comforting to have my wrists and palms covered. If this option is not for you then you can just fold the cuffs up. Voila!

What can I say about this incredible fashionista. Edith Dohmen, blogger of Style Has NO Size, has a palpable positivity and happy aura. She’s truly chic, effervescent, and realistically optimistic, a balance that’s quite a challenge, especially in plus size fashion.
