Paul’s just gay, don’t sweat it. I’d want women to look like 19 yearold male abercrombie models too if I was a closet homosexual.

I want to see REAL women like this posted on every page of every magazine. Tired of gauntly women who look anemic and a cheerio away from passing out. Honestly, God created women to look like this. I sure do!

Personally, I would say that this woman is pretty good looking, but she is just a bit overweight.

Also, keep in mind that this is a professional photo shoot for a big-budget magazine that has obviously used the most flattering lighting and angles possible, and may have even used Photoshop. Regular women who are overweight may not appear quite as attractive.

Also, I wish certain people would stop saying that “real” women are all fat.
I’m really sick of hearing that garbage.

Sure, after the age of, say, 35, it’s not as realistic for some people to have a slim, youthful look, but there are women in their twenties using this line as an excuse to have poor health habits and get fat.

Do none of you remember what you looked like when you were 20?
    Are 20-year-olds not “real” women?
Lots of women are able to keep that look (or close to it) into their late twenties or early thirties just by getting a little exercise and not eating like a pig.

I’m not talking about looking like an anorexic toothpick or “male Abercrombie model”, just fit and healthy-looking.
Not everyone who isn’t fat is anorexic.
    Stop thinking in extremes.

I like women with curves too, but not when the curves are really big and saggy.
“Rolls” are not the same things as “curves”.

When you have celebrities like Sarah Silverman FORCING THEMSELVES TO GAIN WEIGHT so that they can play a “real woman” for a movie role, the irony is incredible.

I understand that after a certain age you’re probably not going to be as skinny as you once were, and most people will cut you some slack for not being perfectly thin when you’re middle aged, but please, stop trying to tell everyone that it’s normal and attractive to be fat and that any woman who isn’t fat isn’t “real”.

    PS -
Well, when I posted my original comment, I didn’t realize this was a web site for “plus-size” women, it was just a page I happened to stumble across online.

It wasn’t my intention to hurt anyone’s feelings; I realize that some women just have a naturally different body type, and, in case it wasn’t clear, I do think the model in the picture is attractive (upon further research I did find better pictures of her). She does appear a little overweight to me though.

The point I was trying to make is that there are a lot of women going around insisting that “real” women are all obese, that any woman who isn’t “real” (obese) is an “anorexic male Abercrombie model”, and bashing anyone who disagrees.

This is the thing that I am opposed to.
