Crystal Responds With Glamour Mag

We have all experienced the world-wind discussion of Crystal Renn’s Fashion for Passion photos from a couple weeks back. Crystal sat down for an interview with Cindi Leive Editor-In-Chief of Glamour Magazine to discuss the issues that have surfaced after the photos went public.

As you can see from these behind the scenes pic’s below that, that is Crystal’s natural body. It should not be surprising that she is photoshopped like any other model and its easy to see that she was here as well.

As a woman, who like Crystal, has struggled with her relationship with the gym/working out for her whole life (to me it equates with being overweight) it just pulls at my heartstrings when I see the backlash she has received for grabbing hold of her life and letting herself develop to who she wants to be. Being hard on anyone in regards to weight is never a positive thing and through my personal experience it does not ever help the issue. – Aimee

So I encourage you to take a moment and read through the full interview with Crystal at Glamour.com.

I think this is another perfect example of how over retouching can be detrimental to both the viewer and the one being altered.

so I guess now she will have to defend herself for every photo of her that gets out there. Bc that Jean Paul Gaultier and everything before, for the past 6 months, looks the same to us. Shes small. She needs to just outright come and say shes now a straight size model.
