Designer Spotlight- Darren Trentacosta

Darren Trentacosta has always been one of our favorite Indie designers. His design savviness and attention to detail makes every piece he designs look extra special. Trentacosta has just released his Spring/Summer 2010 collection and we could not be more excited! Here are our season highlights:

Trentacosta’s sheath dresses are perfectly created for the plus size body and have great design details such as origami pleats.

We love a good sundress and Trentacosta delivers! He has the sweetest sundresses with cinched bow tie details on the sleeves. Perfect for a picnic or strolling boardwalk.

A good knit tee can go a long way! The Spring/Summer line has the perfectly pleated knit tee that is so transversal that it can be worn to finish off a tailored suit or be paired with the key item of the season; the flyaway cardigan.

Being well suited for work is always a must, even in the hot summer months. Trentacosta has designed some great options for summer suiting; tailored 3 button jackets, tailored slacks, and skirting options with gussets, origami, and zipper details.
