Gabby Sidibe took home the trophy for Outstanding Actress In A Motion Picture for her role in “Precious” at the NAACP Image Awards in Los Angeles on Friday night. She beat out tough competition such as Sandra Bullock, who she is seen here with.
Gabby said the award came as a surprise, “I didn’t really expect this”. “I walked into his (director Lee Daniels) office in jeans and sneakers and he saw a glamorous dress and heels, and he saw a star and I could never thank you enough, I can’t,” she said.
Congrats to Gabby on the big award!
