The new film “The Runaways” opened this weekend in NYC and we couldn’t be more excited to see the story and the fashions! Based on the book “Neon Angel” by Cherie Currie (played by Dakota Fanning), lead singer of The Runaways, the movie tells their story from her point-of-view along with the friendship she had with Joan Jett (played by Kristin Stewart) who played guitar for the group.
