However Queen Latifah is using her head with this plaid. I noticed a couple of things she did very well, notice the direction of the plaid is diagonal facing downward forming a sort of v-shape and she's keeping the center vertical by using black (very wise). Additionally she's using some classic moves like a v-neck top with a wide belt and it seems to me the jacket is using black pockets shaped nicely to form an impression of a curvy waist.
