While in Toronto, I visited one of my favorite new indie designers Stefanie Bezaire. Stefanie grew up with an itch to be apart of the fashion industry.  Hours spent watching Fashion TV when she was young added fuel to the fire and she started to develop her own fashionable clothing out of necessity as she could not find the fashion she wanted in plus sizes.

This led her to start her own clothing line, Stefanie Bezaire, which launced February 2010 and it is already blowing off the racks!

One thing that we love about Stefanie Bezaire is that she takes all of the plus size “fashion don’ts” and shows that it can be done. When I got to her studio she was wearing a polka dot blouse with a lovely big blow that was tucked into her skirt and finished off with a waist cinching skinny belt. Her rule breaking personal style is impressive and inspiring.

Stefanie says her personal style is inspired by the 50′s and you can see this influence in her designs. She also loves to mix in accessories by pairing outfits with bright tights and bows.
