I recommend fitted, but if you like ‘em loose then rock your style. I say “dark” because some will always go black—and never go back, and some girls like more sunshiny colors in their wardrobe that a navy is going to compliment better. This is a piece from boyfriend to cropped to military that’s always got a version out there. But I think if your budget conscious and you find a middle-of-the-road cut that steers away from the suit jacket, and fits you fabulously, you’re all set.
