Yes, it is true. Gemma Ward is not the only great model who has hit puberty and is now too large for the fashion industry. Coco Rocha is now 21 years-old and a size 4, which is considered too large for sample sizes and runway shows.

Coco was discovered at the age of 14 when competing in an Irish Dance Competition. She has walked the runways of Diane Von Furstenburg, Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs, and even Irish danced down the runway of Jean Paul Gaultier’s show. Now that she is a size 4 and can not walk the runways as frequently, she has started to diversify her career. Rocha has started a clothing line called Rococo, is a correspondent for ET Canada and Modelinia.com, and has a blog called Oh So Coco.

On all of this hoopla, Rocha say, “You know what? I’ve stopped caring”.  “If I want a hamburger, I’m going to have one. No 21-year-old should be worrying about whether she fits a sample size.”  Amen Coco!
