MP had the pleasure to meet with the lovely Jessica Svoboda of SVOBODA denim twice last week at the Hudson Hotel and at Hotel AKA in NYC.

At the Hudson Hotel she exclusively showed the Madison Plus ladies, Erica and Aimee, as well as MP friend Catherine Schuller, brand new samples from her high-end premium denim line. Jessica’s premium denim line starts at $118.00 and goes to $148.00. The jeans are worth every cent due to the quality and thought that goes into each pair.  When Jessica speaks about her denim line, you can see the passion that she has for denim and and the love that goes into making each jean extra special.

All of her jeans are perfectly made for a curvy body.  Each silhouette has flattering stitching details and forgiving stretch in every style.  One innovative style, the Blue Depths Five Pocket in a dark denim wash, uses a new fiber called T400^®.  T400^® gives a relaxed stretch for comfort and ease of movement. According to Lycra.com, “garments not only fit well, but retain their shape, wear after wear.” I was very pleasantly surprised to see Svoboda put this fiber into her jean as it is one of the newer innovative fibers out there in the denim world. Only a handful of straight size denim companies have had the foresight to add this fiber to their denim. The fact that she already has it for plus sizes speaks to her determination on creating the best fitting pair of truly premium jeans for the plus size woman. This jean is perfect for the woman who wants comfort and not stop style on the go!

SVOBODA is also offering the IT jean of the season- the jegging! A knit denim was combined with flattering backpockets and a set on waist to create the perfect, trend right, pair of jeggings out there. Pair them with heels and a great tunic or boyfriend jacket and you are ready to head out the door!

My absolute favorite pair of jeans is the Vintage Five Pocket Jean. It is a distressed jean with fading, whiskers, and paint splatters!  I dream of pairing these great, statement jeans, with a basic white T, chunky necklace, and heels. After this exclusive preview of the SVOBODA denim line, the Madison Plus ladies, Aimee and Erica, were invited back to her trunk show in Hotel AKA, right in Times Square. We were able to try on the jeans first hand and see and feel what a great pair of jeans can do for your physique and confidence!

Aimee modeled the Moody Blue Five Pocket Jean and I tried on the Vintage Five Pocket Jean. We absolutely loved the fit and look of the jeans! A definite must have in your denim assortment!
