Crystal Renn is a favorite plus size model here at Madison Plus and we are always on the lookout for her next feature.
Most recently, she has been promoting her new book “Hungry: A Young Model’s Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves” available here. We’re excited to read Crystal’s story!

This past summer she was featured in a 12 page spread for July 2009 edition of Elle Canada. The spread is an ode to Frida Khalo and was shot on location in Mexico. The photographs were taken by Leda and St. Jacques of Productions L’Eloi based in Montreal. The images are absolutely stunning! We selected a few to show you below.
We’ll be keeping are eye out for Crystal in the future!

Crystal is definitely one of my favorites although I swear she’s lost at least 10lbs since these photos were taken.
Lauren Maksimovic is my favourite plus size model! She is Australian and so beautiful she is taking the modelling industry in Australia by storm! Unfortunatly in Australia there is not much opportunity for beautiful editorial shoots like there seems to be in Europe and America….
What i love about Crystal is that she tend’s to suffer the same weight problem like any normal women.
Her size is all over the shop.
She looked really fit and lean in the glamour issue, yet these pic’s seem more like the Crystal we have all come to love.
BTW who is Lauren??
