What do you think of our OneStopPlus.com Fashion Show pictures?

Yesterday, OneStopPlus.com made fashion week and runway history by doing an entire runway show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week using only plus size models and plus fashions. Not only was the show a first ever, it was also very well done.

The models selected were some of the best in the industry with Ashley Graham, Lizzie Miller, Toccara Jones, Marquita Pring, Sabina Karlsson, Danielle Redman, Lauren Raley, Tonya Pittman, Robyn Lawley, Inga Eiriksdottir and many more strutting down the catwalk. The clothing was very well styled as well as beautifully presented. The VP of Design, Zahir Babvani, and Designer Galina Monaco presented a cool color palette that went from light lavendar, to rich purples, to cool blues, to darker denim, then light greens, olives, and then to shades of peach and coral. When all of the models came through for the final walk down the runway the color palettes and transitions between each looked expertly done.

The models makeup gave a luminous effect to their faces with a lightly orange lip and hair that was pulled back with a bump in the front and a long romantic coil in the back. After the show the models could not stop raving about the orange lip and wore their full hair and makeup out for the after party (don’t worry, we have pics from this and will post!).

OneStopPlus.com that carries sizes 14w-44w is having the first ever plus size fashion show during NYC Fashion Week on September 15th! Plus size models that will be strutting down the catwalk include Lizzie Miller and Toccara Jones.  Emme, a plus size icon, will be the host of the show.

OneStopPlus.com has brought in a famous face to represent their brand. Plus Model Emme is their new brand ambassador. Emme is one of the first plus size models in the fashion industry and has graced the pages of People Magazine’s “50 Most Beautiful People” issue and has been named Glamour Magazine’s “Woman Of The Year”.

OSP is already putting Emme to work with a recent appearance on The Insider where she shares her thoughts on all the TV shows like The Biggest Looser, Dance Your Ass Off and Huge.

Last week we were working away in the studio when MP friend Emme called and said she was having lunch for her birthday in the Time Square area and wanted us to stop by to get an exclusive street style pic! Of course we said yes, threw on our stilettos and ran out the door to see her.

As always, Emme looked amazing. Here she was wearing a printed dress that featured a self-tie sash at the waist and dolmen sleeves. Her long blond hair was slicked back in a sophisticated ponytail and her accessories of gold bangles and T-strap heels were simply elegant and paired well with the bold print of the dress. While Emme has been very successful as a plus model, she has been channeling her success into her charity, The Body Image Council.

Plus model Emme was on Rachel Ray yesterday. Emme had the wonderful opportunity of working with women who wear a size 20 and up!! We absolutely love the outfits she put together. Emme also gave some helpful hints about not being afraid of ruffles, highlighting waists, and pintucking. Whitney Thompson has become an official ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), joining the battle against eating disorders and unrealistic “body-perfect” ideals.

“I am thrilled to be an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association. Since winning Top Model, I have heard from thousands of people all over the world who are dealing with eating disorders. I want to support those people affected and their families and I want to help people identify and resist the social stereotypes and images that lead to unhealthy behavioral patterns.” – Whitney Thompson
