Two of our favorite celebrities are rocking the same Alexander McQueen epaulet top and they both look amazing! We were inspired to create a look around their style using a key item this season – the jumper. We chose a wide-leg Baby Phat jumper and paired it with a sleek heel. We brought in some of that gold with the cuff and finished it off with a Tory Burch envelope clutch.

What I love most is that you get to see how Jennifer Hudson goes for a more “modest” look by layering on a lace cami, which is always a smart thing to do if you don’t want to overflow from your top, but Kim Kardashian manages to keep that from happening sans cami. I don’t always have such luck so I normally go the cami route. Both of them elongate their figure by keeping it solid black from head to toe. No one can deny the slimming effects of black or the background it provides for some statement jewelry.

The Mad Men ensemble nominee, Christina Hendricks, time travels from the ’60s to the ’70s in a black sequined L’Wren Scott wrap, Judith Leiber clutch and Rene Caovilla peep-toes.

Sofia Vergara brought the sexy in a blue Roberto Cavalli dress.

The Kardashian sisters all looked amazing, Kim and Kourtney looked stunning in similar strapless, sweetheart neckline, printed dresses which fit their figures amazingly. Khloe looked angelic in her floor length chiffon strapless gown whose side draping really accentuated her curves.

All we have to say about Queen Latifa is WOW! She did a great job fitting her body and going with the feminine and masculine trend we have been seeing. Queen Latifa mixed a great black pant and blazer with a sexy corset which really fit her body so well. She also topped it off with a sparkling neck piece that just popped.

Raven Symone was wearing a more avante garde look which was made up of a thigh high leather boot and a ruffle tiered blazer that was belted to bring your attention to her waist.

Leaked! Unretouched photos of Madonna’s ad campaign with Dolce & Gabbana! The pre and post photos of Madonna are startling in the difference between how her skin, face, and hands look. It begs us to ask, how much retouching is too much? What do you think of these pictures of Madonna and of all of the other recent unretouched photos that have leaked recently?

Kim Kardashian and Blake Lively were caught wearing very similar DVF dresses. Kim opting for a higher neck line and Blake rocked a wrap. Kim K has said she wears a higher neckline when wearing a shorter dress. Blake on the over hand has been known for showing off the girlfriends and gams a little more.

What do you think of Kim Kardashian’s newest cover and editorial?

While we may not have a stylist or tailor on hand while trying on clothes, Kim Kardashian gives some great advice on dressing a curvy body.  Her advice is to find a great tailor.  Kim tells InStyle magazine…

“Anything you wear should be proportioned to your body, and a good tailor will make sure everything fits perfectly. I either have my tailor at every fitting or I have my stylist pin my wardrobe and take it to the tailor before I wear anything. Shortening a hem line on a dress can make a huge difference!”

We definitely agree that a tailor can really make all the difference in your overall look! A garment that fits well creates a slimmer silhouette and makes you look more put together.

What is your advice for dressing a curvy body?

I had a Faith 21 shopping spree a few days ago at the new Times Square store and put together a rocking outfit. I am wearing a necklace from one of my new favorite jewelry designers Nicole Akong for Akong London, a elastic waist belt from Zara, the bubble hem skirt is from Faith 21 and I love it because it makes me hips, something I have always wanted and don’t have courtesy of my apple shape body. My gold tank is also from Faith 21, and I know I am going to be wearing it to death during these hot summer months.

Yes, celebrities do wear looks more then once!  Check out Kim Kardashian in a great structured olive skirt with two completely different looks! One look has a touch of nautical chic while the other begs to be taken on a safari. The skirt was easily translated to two different trends by changing the color base of the oufit (beige and white for the nautical look and black for the safari) as well as changing her bag and necklace. An easy change to get a whole new look!

This has causedsome to wonder was this curvaceous star digitally slimmed down for the Elle cover? Photoshopping of celebrities has become increasingly controversial once pictures leaked of Britney Spears, Jessica Alba, and Kim Kardashian that have been photoshopped.

What do you think of this Elle cover of Rihanna? Slimmed down or not?

What do you think of the jumpsuit trend?

Healthy Magazine has taken a very different turn in the recent airbrushing debates.  As celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, and Jessica Alba, have all been airbrushed to be slimmer, Healthy Magazine has airbrushed to add weight. Yes, add! The magazine editor, Jane Druker, claims that the model came to the photoshoot slimmer then she was at the casting. As Healthy Magazine wants to promote a healthy image, they added some curves to model Kamilla Wladyka to make her look “healthier”.
