Avenue is presenting the Curves for Change Fundraiser 5k supporting the empowerment of women and girls on Thursday, May 19th, 2011. Madison Plus is the official media sponsor of the event and we could not be more proud. Come out and help us raise money for two great organizations- The Komera Project and Hardy Girls Healthy Women. Madison Plus is in Las Vegas for The Curvy Revolution! We will be here all weekend posting about the events and the beautiful ladies at them! Thursday night was the first night of The Curvy Revolution with the VIP Reception for Industry Professionals and the Miss Curve Competition hosted by Rosie Mercado. Australia’s Channel 7 “The Morning Show“ speaks up about models and the fashion industry in response to the criticism on plus size models made by French fashion blogger, Garance Dore. Letting the audience know that plus size models are healthy, fit, and making a come back on the cat walk, special guests Darianne Donnelly, the Agency Director of BGM Models, Natalie Wakeling, a BGM Model, and fashion commentator, Melissa Hoyer give their thoughts on the subject.
