Bright pants are all over the celeb circuit and popping up in all the best colors. This is a great look to wear – but remember there are some rules that need to be followed. Since the brightness of the pants are what catches the eye at first glance, make sure to keep it simple on top. Pair with tops in neutral colors such as whites, creams, tans and greys. These colors work best and compliment these bright tones. Don’t be afraid of drawing too much attention to yourself with such bright colors though, it’s all about balancing your shape and that has nothing to do with the color.

Accessories can be simplified as well to keep the look clean and crisp. If you are feeling adventurous, add a patterned shirt, just make sure to incorporate the color of the pants into a color in the patterned shirt. With these simple guidelines working a bright pant can work on anyone!

While spending a few days of my vacation in Amsterdam, I spend lots of time watching all the women walk by or ride by on their bikes. I could not help but absorb their style, what I just loved about how Dutch women dress is that is chic yet functional lots of flats, haram pants and layers!

Since haram pants were one of the key items that ladies were wearing while I was there I decided it was time to take the jump and buy a pair for myself. I found the ones I am wearing (in the pictures) at River Island, I put on my black flats and my lace inset tee and called it a day.

Jeggings are the love child of super tight jeans and leggings, and I am happy they hooked up!  The legging trend was quickly adopted into my lifestyle, but I did miss the ease of jeans. So I am loving this combo. Jeggings have the stretch and ease that I love about leggings but they are a denim knit which keeps the look and texture that is so wonderful about jeans.

This trend looks to be coming out of the UK and jeggings can be seen on the runways and the legs of celebrities like Beyoncé and Rihanna.
