“I imagined 7 outfits, like 7 different women. Clothes will be having the « going out » vibe, but not only, the point was to have versatile clothes in which you can feel beautiful and chic for the end of the year. I played with the material, the structures, the sewing, I wanted some details. Like last time, the collection also has decent prices going from 29 euros to 149 euros, and from size 42 to 60.

It was born from the collaboration with the Taillissime specialists, so let me introduce the Big Beauty collection for Winter 2010!”

The French do it again this time in the upcoming June issue of French Glamour they feature some fabulous French bloggers Stephanie Zwicky and Sakina, and two American bloggers Gabi Gregg and J Fatshionable.

Really looking forward to reading this issue, and I am not to sure why the French are so quick to jump onto curvy/plus bandwagon while American magazines are far behind, it would make more sense it was the opposite the French aren’t known for their love of plus. I am a little puzzled.

I love that they are mostly dressed and it’s great to see some fabulous fashions! I am about to run out and buy my own copy and I will be sure to follow up with my thoughts.

What do you think of the editorial?

A revolution is happening for French fashion, finally, there is a real girl who understands the expectations of us big girls.  She is beautiful, chic, cool, and in the month of March, French actress, plus-size model, and blogger, Stephanie Zwicky, is debuting her new capsule collection for La Redoute’s plus size line Taillissime.  The collection is called “Big Beauty” and will consist of 10 pieces.  The line has beautiful colors and cuts that will leave other brands envious.  All Parisian girls, as well as the Belgian and Swiss, are eagerly awaiting this new line! 

I really wish great success to Stephanie.  This is proof that nothing is impossible.  The gossip will always be there that big girls have no place in fashion, but here again the proof that fashion is not a question of size but of attitude and commitment.
