MP Model Off Duty: Lizzie Miller

The lovely Lizzie Miller stopped by the MP offices a few weeks ago to say hello and of course share her fabulous style. I was drooling over her black bondage skirt from H&M, its a piece I have wanting to add to my closet and seeing it on Lizzie sealed the deal. Lizzie also wore a pair of black pantyhose, including them in her look just smoothed her figure and added some more texture and colour to her look. Lizzie topped of her look with a fedora, which just proves that hats should not be an overlooked accessory and are a must when it comes to outfitting, her hat served as the period at the end of fashion sentence.

Elena Miro New Fall 2010 Collection

Tis the season for all the fabulous fall previews and we have the newest one from everyones favorite high-end plus designer Elena Miro. We were teased earlier this year with the fall runway show and now we are so excited to share with you their Fall/Winter 2010 catalog. The catalog is featuring two fabulous WCurve plus models Aija Barzdina and Amanda Dougherty.

I am loving the fall collection, coats are trending for this fall and they have some amazing styles from traditional to fashion wool coats, causal puffer jackets, and of course a new take on the trench.

I also see some 1990′s minimalism playing into the silhouettes, with the mix of lux fabrics, and clean lines. Elena Miro created effortlessly chic and unfussy fashions that don’t need tons of styling to look amazing.

I recommend fitted, but if you like ‘em loose then rock your style. I say “dark” because some will always go black—and never go back, and some girls like more sunshiny colors in their wardrobe that a navy is going to compliment better. This is a piece from boyfriend to cropped to military that’s always got a version out there. But I think if your budget conscious and you find a middle-of-the-road cut that steers away from the suit jacket, and fits you fabulously, you’re all set. Mine is from H&M, I’ve had it forever, and will have it forever more. – Leona
