Celebrities with Fupa (Fatty Upper Pubic Area)

Celebrities are people too. And just like us, they have body parts that don’t always look perfect. Check out these celebs with FUPA (fatty upper pubic area)!

Many women feel uncomfortable in their skin due to their imperfections. FUPA is women’s most feared type of fat, creating stress and anxiety concerning weight loss. However, many female celebrities have rejoiced in their imperfections and talked about FUPA.

Some celebrities that have FUPA and are proud of their bodies are:

  • Beyoncé
  • Chrissy Teigen
  • Lady Gaga
  • Lena Dunham
  • Jennifer Lopez
  • Priyanka Chopra Jonas
  • Twinkle Khanna
  • Malaika Arora

I’ll go into more detail below.

What is FUPA?

fupa

FUPA means “Fat Upper Pubic Area.”

It is also known as “crotch fat” and “belly fat.” In the medical community, it is also known as “panniculus“. It is the kind of fat that gathers in the lower belly of women.

Sometimes having crotch fat is part of a woman’s body type.

FUPA can occur:

  • After pregnancy
  • After rapid weight loss
  • While aging
  • Due to genetics

That kind of belly fat is harder to lose. Most women use exercises such as bicycle crunches, forearm planks, and leg raises.

Beyoncé

Beyonce

Beyoncé, singer, and mother of three, has extensively talked about her crotch fat after her pregnancies.

Following her first pregnancy, she tried to lose all weight she had gained, deeming it crazy. During her second pregnancy, she developed a health issue, toxemia, and then had an emergency C-section. After her C-section, she gave herself time to heal and lots of self-love and self-care.

She developed a mommy pouch, which she described as “meant to be,” and she decided to embrace her curves.

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen is a model and mother who loves her body as is.

She openly expressed how easy it can be to forget that our bodies are normal and beautiful when all social media promote ideal bodies. She praises crotch fat and every type of belly fat, curves, and stretch marks.

She specifically stated that it is wrong for society to urge women to lose weight after their pregnancies by bombing them with perfect body pictures.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is known for her boldness and fearlessness.

She has expressed her confidence regarding her body many times and is proud of who she is. In 2017, there were comments regarding her lower belly fat, to which she immediately answered.

She fashionably showed off her crotch fat during the Super Bowl and wrote on Instagram that she is proud of her body and all others should be as well.

Lena Dunham

Actress Lena Dunham, mainly known for the TV show “Girls,” has also made statements regarding FUPA.

Lena Dunham is always confident about her body. She is never afraid to display her body in her show or on social media. She wrote on her Instagram page that the haters need to get more creative with their insults because she is not afraid of empty comments.

Her self-assurance about her body reminds her that crotch-fat comments cannot shame her.

Jennifer Lopez

J.LO

Jennifer Lopez received criticism regarding her belly fat in 2013.

A few years after she had her two babies, Jennifer Lopez was proud of her body and wasn’t afraid to display her crotch fat. She said she loved her “jiggly belly” because she had earned it.

Priyanka Chopra-Jonas

Priyanka Chopra-Jones revealed that she sometimes is insecure about her body.

She talked about how she usually gains weight around Diwali and Christmas and sometimes feels guilty about it. However, she refuses to look at other women’s bodies and rejects experiencing insecurities about her own.

Her message was that she and everyone else should accept their body for what it is in any circumstance.

Twinkle Khanna

When Twinkle Khanna was interviewed at Elle Magazine, she talked about her age and looks.

She talks about her happiness with her size, age, and looks. We should view a woman’s body from a further point than simply its appearance, especially when it is healthy and functions as it should.

She explained that women should forgive their bodies for a few lines or wrinkles and appreciate themselves as they are.

However, she still has flaws in her body, and she embraces them. She highlighted the changes a woman’s body undergoes and urged each woman to love those changes.

Her message for all is to embrace all curves and flaws.

Wrapping Up

Many celebrities have lower belly fat and FUPA, regardless of how fit they are.

They all welcome changes in their bodies and feel happy and confident. Although keeping fit and investing in weight loss can benefit the human body, it can become dangerous when obsessed with it due to insecurities.

The message is clear: You should love and accept your bodies as they are!
