Madison Plus: Where do you call home?

Marcy Guevara: My car.  I am a gypsy, a total free spirit. I sleep most of the time at home in Orange County, but between meetings, shoots, and other engagements I am often all over Southern California!

Where are you from?

I am from Buena Park, CA.  The home of the best jam and chicken which can be found down the street at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Who are your style icons?

I adore the Kardashians, (I don’t care what anyone says), but as far as classics, I love Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor and Sophia Loren.  I am also obsessed with Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher, a playboy playmate and a TV star.

Where do you find inspiration for your daily looks?

From what is clean, cute, colorful and sticks out to me!!!

What trend are you looking forward to this spring?

I love all of the yellows and leather and gatsby and florals. I love it all.  As my friend Jen Wilder says, “trend, on trend, on trend.”

What trend do you wish would disappear?

Pajama pants!!!  I tried some on at Target, it was a mess.  I also recently had a man say to me, “that girl looks like she is wearing pajamas.”  It’s time to be done.

What do you love most about what you do?

I am a host and feel most comfortable chatting on camera, however, I blog because I know that women are inspired by seeing me try things they wouldn’t, and by my style.  I mainly do outfit posts and focus on my Youtube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/th

Words of wisdom for fellow curvy ladies?

Style has no size. Embrace your size TODAY.  Live in the skin you’re in and work on being confident. You know what you need to do in order to feel good, but while you’re in between or in bed or wherever you are, be grateful you have a life to live and air to breathe! You are perfect.
